On November 4, 2001, John Calbo passed away peacefully at his Padre Island home at the age of 65. John worked with the USDA, FSIS family for 22 years. His distinguished career brought him from Albany, New York, to Alameda, California, and finally to Dallas, TX where he retired as a Compliance Officer-In-Charge. John will be deeply missed by his wife Sandra, his four children, his nine grandchildren, his father, two brothers, and all of us who had the pleasure to know John in FSIS.
